These trashcans look nice, are decently priced and have good function. There is only one thing wrong - they are too deep to hold normal kitchen trash bags. They are also more narrow, so you can’t just use a larger bag. Simplehuman sells custom bags for these cans, but they are expensive and not readily available. They are also not as good as the bags you can buy at the grocery store. I’m not sure why they did this, but I suspect it’s to extract more money from customers. It’s the same model printer manufacturers use to sell ink.

In order to fix this, we add a few 3d printable clips to the rim of the trash can to protect the bag from slipping the extra depth. The clips are designed to fit the rim of the trashcan and hold the bag in place. The clips are designed to be easily removable, to make replacing the trash bag easier.
